Carrier’s NextGen II CDF2-16Q7 dehumidifier has the capacity to absorb 16 litres of water in 24 hours. It is suitable for single rooms up to 64m², in order to maintain the humidity of the room at normal levels. This means that it creates the conditions for the air to be more “comfortable” and removes natural and visible signs of moisture, such as mould on walls or condensation in the form of water droplets on windows. It also helps prevent conditions caused by high humidity, such as allergies and asthma.
The use of a dehumidifier in a room during the winter months increases the temperature of the room by up to 3°C, thus reducing heating costs, thus offering savings.

The ideal average relative humidity of a room is between 50% – 55%. At this level, most of us feel comfortable and it is the ideal environment to avoid allergies, frequent colds and bone pains. At the same time, an average humidity of this order helps to protect and maintain materials inside the house, such as plasterboard, walls and wooden floors – furniture, while protecting clothes in wardrobes and other objects or materials that are prone to the harmful effects of excessive moisture.

It has a removable water tank with a capacity of 3 liters, which for the smooth operation of the device must be emptied on a regular basis, and once in a while to clean it with soap and water to avoid mold. Also, the water collected in the dehumidifier tank is deionized and can be used for uses in which we don’t want water with salts, such as in car wipers. Beware though, it is not so pure that it comes into contact with clean clothes, so it is not recommended for use in the steam iron.

The dehumidification technology of the device, i.e. the way the dehumidifier absorbs moisture from a room, is based on a compressor that condenses the moisture from the air, and conveys it in the form of water to the container. Compressor dehumidifiers are more effective at absorbing moisture for heated spaces than zeolite dehumidifiers. It is therefore recommended for rooms where the temperature does not drop below 13-14°C.

It is silent, as the noise during operation does not exceed 39db. This makes it suitable for use during your night’s sleep or any other time you need quiet.
The special laundry drying programme provides fast drying, without the moisture from wet clothes accumulating in your room, as all the moisture will end up in the dehumidifier’s water tank. Simply place the clothes dryer in a (preferably small) room with the door closed and the dehumidifier close to the clothes and select the clothes drying mode.

There’s Wi-Fi connectivity so you can set up the device even when you’re not at home. Choose any time you want, from wherever you are, to activate your dehumidifier easily via your mobile phone or tablet.
In addition, it has a function that after a power failure the dehumidifier automatically restarts.

With the drain connection function, forget about emptying the water tank forever. Simply connect the drainage tube to the appliance and insert it into the drainage siphon. This way the water tank does not need to be emptied every time it is filled. It is recommended for use in areas where there is a big humidity problem and the water tank will be filled very often, such as a basement or a warehouse.

Includes a timer, which helps you to schedule the hours of operation and automatically turns on/off at the time you set. This reduces energy costs, so you save energy and money.
